Big news! In April 2024, we acquired the Waldweben Campsite in Clausthal-Zellerfeld, which we will renovate this winter to open in spring 2025. The site is a dream. Situated in the UNESCO World Heritage "Upper Harz Upper Harz Water Regale", surrounded by picturesque spruce forests, green meadows, and clear swimming and fishing lakes, the site has everything you could want.

Perhaps one of Germany's best kept secret, the Harz is not yet that well known. We were surprised ourselves and now are totally in love. It's reminiscent of parts of Canada: wild, wooded, and with many streams and mountain lakes. There are tonnes of mountain biking trails and enchanted hiking paths. If you're lucky, you might encounter the Harz "Big Five": the lynx, capercaillie, red deer, accoon, and wildcat.
