Beschreibung

Our campsite in the Upper Harz sits at around 600 metres, surrounded by forests, rolling hills and a network of clear mountain lakes. From here, you can head straight out, hiking, swimming or simply spending time outdoors. The landscape is quiet and open.

The region is shaped by its mining past, still visible in many places today. The Harz National Park is close by, ideal for anyone who enjoys being outside. With a bit of luck, you might spot lynx, wildcats or even capercaillies in the wild. After a day out, you return to camp: to warm up in the clubhouse, pick up what you need from the camp shop, or make use of the modern facilities. Wildwood Camping Harz is open year-round, including through winter.

A great campsite with modern facilities and a good range of pitches. Whether you prefer the open meadow, a designated spot or the edge of the forest, there’s something for everyone. Our dog loved it too.

        Christopher & Katharina

We stayed at Wildwood Camp Harz for three days at the beginning of April with two children and two dogs and had a wonderful time from start to finish. The campsite is beautifully quiet and offers spacious pitches surrounded by nature.

        Kevin

I’m already thinking about when I’ll come back with my girls, my husband and our dog. Maybe next time to the Wild Meadow? It definitely won’t be our last stay here.

Keep up the great work :-)

        Jessi

The most beautiful campsite I’ve ever stayed at. Super modern, wonderfully peaceful, and the team is unbelievably helpful and friendly. They really got me out of a difficult situation!

        Phillow

Up to wildfire warning level 3, you may have a campfire at the communal fire pit until 10 pm. Personal fire bowls or fire barrels at the pitches themselves are not allowed.

There are also two wood-fired grills available for all guests to use. The special firewood for them can be purchased in the camp shop.

Please check the current wildfire warning level on the notice board at the clubhouse.
