Any questions?

We are here for you.

  • You can book your pitch or cabin on our website and pay directly via PayPal or credit card. If you do not have any of these payment methods, feel free to contact us via email (heide@wildwoodcamping.de).

  • We offer three different size pitches (small, medium, large), cabins, and a "Wild Meadow" with an open choice of space. Additionally, for cyclists, canoeists, and hikers arriving without a car, we offer a small meadow for your tent (car-free).

Please book one pitch per camping vehicle (motorhome, van, caravan + car, tent + car). The category "large" may also be booked for 2 smaller vehicles.

  • The overnight rate is calculated based on the price of the pitch plus the number of people and dogs. Electricity, showers, and Wi-Fi are included in the overnight rate, and children under 6 years old stay for free.

  • Check-in is from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM (from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM in April and October). If you have booked online, you can also arrive after reception hours until 9:00 PM. In case of late arrival, please inform us in advance by phone or email.

Check-out is between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM. If you have no outstanding bills, you do not need to check out at the reception upon departure. However, we appreciate a brief feedback on how you enjoyed your stay with us.

Depending on availability, we offer early arrivals or late departures for an additional fee. Please contact the reception by email (heide@wildwoodcamping.de).

  • Of course! Feel free to bring 2 dogs per pitch. Please indicate this during the online booking. We kindly ask you to keep your dog on a lead at the pitch, as there may be people who do not like dogs.

  • Up to 14 days before arrival, you can cancel your booking free of charge. Between 13 and 3 days before arrival, you can reschedule your booking free of charge to another date within the same year or receive a refund of 50% of the travel costs. A cancellation within 2 days of arrival and in case of no-show, 100% cancellation costs will be charged.

  • There is no minimum stay at Wildwood. You can stay for as long as you like during our opening hours and arrive and depart on any day of the week.

  • We offer a selection of chilled alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, freshly brewed coffee, ice cream, snacks, selected regional or organic products, and useful little things that can be easily forgotten (honey, did you pack the batteries?). You can scan your purchases yourself at our self-service checkout and pay with a debit- or credit-card.

For breakfast, we have fresh bread rolls from the local bakery. Please place your bread order in the list at the camp store by 5:00 PM the day before. Payment is made upon collection at our self-service checkout using a debit card or credit card.

Our camp store is open during the off-peak season from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and during the peak season from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

  • On your pitch, you are always allowed to use your gas or electric grill. Up to forest fire level 3, you may also use a wood or charcoal grill. Up to forest fire level 3, you can have a campfire at the communal fire pit until 10:00 PM. Personal fire bowls or fire barrels on the pitches themselves are not allowed.

Additionally, there are 2 wood grills available for all guests. If you need firewood, you can buy it at the camp store.

Please check the forest fire level on the notice board at the clubhouse.

  • In the washroom, there is a level-access, barrier-free bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower. For more detailed information regarding the facilities or room layout, feel free to email us at: heide@wildwoodcamping.de. As we aim to keep our site as close to nature as possible, our paths are made of gravel, earth, or grass. Unfortunately, the clubhouse with the camp store, reception, and common area is only accessible via 3 steps. However, seating areas in front of the clubhouse are accessible at ground level via the lawn.

  • No problem, you can also rent cabins (with bed linen) or a tent (from Jack Wolfskin) from us. Please don't forget your sleeping bag and sleeping mat if you rent a tent. However, you have to set up the tent yourself; otherwise, it wouldn't be camping.
