Wildwood Camping Management GmbH Campground:
"Wildwood Camping Lüneburger Heide" in Oldendorf, Lower Saxony
§ 1 SCOPE
These terms and conditions govern the mutual obligations and rights between the campsite "Wildwood Camping Lüneburger Heide" (operated by Wildwood Camping Management GmbH) as the lessor and the guest as the lessee. The contractual services are provided based on the respective valid descriptions and price lists. The campsite reserves the right to annual price increases and changes in the season periods. For telephone inquiries or other side agreements to be effective, they must be in writing and are only valid if confirmed in writing by the campsite. § 2 OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
The campsite provides the guest with the pitch, the boundaries of which are determined by the operator, for the agreed-upon period. The guest is entitled to set up a caravan with a vehicle, a motorhome/van, or a tent with a vehicle on the pitch and to use the pitch as well as the communal facilities with the booked number of persons according to the conditions of these terms and conditions, the site regulations, and within the framework of the relevant public regulations. The guest is not entitled to establish a residence on the site or to carry out commercial activities. § 3 BOOKING, PAYMENT, CONTRACT CONCLUSION
Online bookings: Bookings for individual guests are primarily made online via the booking form on the website www.wildwoodcamping.de. The total price is due immediately upon booking and can be paid by credit card, PayPal, or instant bank transfer. The contract becomes binding with the booking confirmation from the campsite and the payment of the rental amount. Bookings by email: Upon receipt of the binding reservation confirmation, the guest must pay the amount within 7 days. If payment is not made within the deadline, the booking will be canceled. On-site bookings: For spontaneous bookings on-site, the total price is immediately due and can be paid by credit card, debit card, or in cash at the reception. Group bookings: Special conditions apply to groups. Group reservations with more than 4 parties of related persons require written confirmation from the campsite before booking. The contract is only valid for the specified period and for the number of persons indicated upon written confirmation by the campsite. Minors: Bookings by unaccompanied minors under 18 years of age are not allowed. § 4 CANCELLATION
The guest can withdraw from the contract at any time before arrival. To avoid misunderstandings, cancellations must always be made in writing to the email address lueneburger-heide@wildwoodcamping.de. The date of receipt of the cancellation declaration by the campsite is decisive for the amount of the resulting fees (see § 5 Cancellation conditions, fees). Pitch that is not occupied by the end of reception time on the day of arrival (6:00 p.m.) and for which no written or telephone agreement has been made for later occupancy may be used by the campsite for other purposes, as well as pitches that become available due to early departure. In the case of early departure, the overpaid costs will neither be refunded nor credited. For your own interest, we recommend taking out travel cancellation or interruption insurance. § 5 CANCELLATION CONDITIONS, FEES
STANDARD CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
Up to 14 days before arrival: Free cancellation From 13 days to 3 days before arrival: 50% cancellation fee or free rebooking to another date in the summer of 2024 From 2 days before arrival: 100% cancellation fee There is no entitlement to a refund in the event of late arrival or early departure.
§ 6 SITE REGULATIONS
The guest and their fellow travelers must observe the posted site regulations. In the event of serious violations, the campsite is entitled to terminate the contract without prior warning. In this case, the guest is not entitled to a partial refund of the rent. § 7 USE OF THE SITE
2:00 pm – 7:00 pm
8:00 am – 12:00 pm
Night rest is from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. The site may not be accessed by motor vehicles during these times (except in emergencies). Furthermore, vehicles may only drive on the site at walking speed, and the road traffic regulations apply. We reserve the right to change the booked pitch within the category, in exceptional cases also across categories. If an incorrect vehicle specification regarding size or weight was made at the time of booking, no pitch can be guaranteed. Only one vehicle is allowed per pitch. Additional vehicles can only be accepted if they are registered and there is sufficient space.
Only the registered persons are allowed to use the site. Additional overnight guests must be registered at the reception and pay the applicable overnight rates. A maximum of 6 persons (including children) are allowed per pitch. Exception: The LARGE pitches can be booked for 8 persons.
Minors are only allowed to stay at the campsite accompanied by a legal guardian. They are responsible for supervising minors and are liable for the actions of minors. The campsite is located near the Örtze heath river and also has three unsupervised fire ponds in the pitch area. Guests must inform their children about the dangers of bodies of water and supervise them accordingly. Liability for accidents and injuries, as well as lost or damaged property, is excluded.
Electricity is only provided to guests who comply with all legal regulations as consumers. Electrical cables supplying caravans, motorhomes, and tents must comply with general technical regulations. The guest is liable for damages caused by overvoltage. Charging electric vehicles is prohibited. Only vehicles with a valid gas inspection are allowed to stay at the campsite. By booking, users declare that their caravan/motorhome has a valid gas inspection.
Only dogs and, after consultation with the campsite, house cats are allowed on the campsite. Dogs must be registered and are subject to a charge at the time of booking. A maximum of 2 dogs can be booked per pitch. As a courtesy to other guests, especially children, dogs must be kept on a leash at all times on the entire campsite, including the booked pitch. If a guest's pet causes a disturbance to other guests, the campsite may require the removal of the animal from the campsite, even if pet ownership was permitted in the rental agreement.
Guests must separate waste and dispose of it at the recycling station. Wastewater must be disposed of in the designated drains. Special drains are also available for feces.
Guests must behave in a manner that does not impair the safety and order of the operation, their own safety, or that of other guests. Instructions from the site management and their representatives must be followed in all cases. § 8 LIABILITY
Each guest undertakes to treat the inventory and the pitch with care. Furthermore, they are obliged to compensate the campsite for any damages caused by them. The campsite is liable for damages resulting from the violation of life, body, or health attributable to intent or negligence, i.e., due to the fault of the operator or due to the fault of vicarious agents or legal representatives of the operator. Liability of the operator for damages that do not constitute an injury to life, body, or health is excluded, unless these are based on grossly negligent or intentional acts or omissions by the operator or by legal representatives of the operator. There is no liability for damages caused by force majeure. In particular, the lessor is not liable for damages caused by animals or plants/trees or weather-related damages. No liability is assumed for the loss or damage of valuables brought by guests. The use of the playground and other communal areas in the pitch area, as well as the use of forest and meadow areas outside the pitch area at the campsite, is at the guest's own risk. § 9 NOTICE OF DEFECTS
Despite all efforts, complaints may unfortunately occur. The guest is obliged to report any complaints immediately to the reception. The reception staff are authorized to accept complaints and will forward them to the management. The campsite will remedy any defects promptly if possible. § 10 DATA PROCESSING, MEDIA DATA, ERRORS
The personal data provided during the booking process will only be used by the campsite for internal purposes, in particular for processing the booking and fulfilling contractual services. Further information on data protection is provided on the website. The campsite is monitored by video cameras in critical areas. This is done for the safety of guests (detection and prevention of security risks), for the protection of property and possessions, and for access control and the exercise of house rights. Recordings are only evaluated as needed, and only the necessary data is stored until clarification. The campsite periodically conducts photo and video recordings on the premises. If the guest does not wish this, the photographer must be informed immediately. We reserve the right to correct errors as well as printing and arithmetic errors. § 11 JURISDICTION
Actions against the campsite must be brought at its registered office. German law applies. For actions by the campsite against the guest, the guest's place of residence is decisive unless the action is directed against merchants or persons who have moved their place of residence or habitual abode abroad after conclusion of the contract or whose place of residence or habitual abode is not known at the time the action is filed. In these cases, the registered office of the campsite is decisive. § 12 SEVERABILITY CLAUSE
Should individual points of this contract be legally ineffective, they shall apply accordingly. The remaining contractual provisions shall remain valid in any case.
